Subject: Important Update: Register on Our Website to Book Tables for Games
Dear fellow wargamers,
I hope this message finds you well and ready for some exciting battles! As proud members of the Shrewsbury Wargames Society, we know that our passion for wargaming knows no bounds. Our clubhouse, with its impressive twelve wargame-sized tables, has witnessed countless epic clashes—from ancient history to the distant future.
Now, to enhance our gaming experience, we’ve introduced a new system for booking tables. Starting immediately, all members are kindly requested to register on our website. By doing so, you’ll gain access to the table reservation feature, ensuring that you can secure your spot for those intense Monday and Friday night battles, as well as our monthly weekend games.
How to Register:
- Visit our website: Shrewsbury Wargames Society.
- Click in the Username box in the Login section and type your username..
- Type in the password you were given when you registered. You will be asked to change it at first login.
There's a handy how-to video here (read down and click the link) to assist.
Why Register?
- Reserve tables in advance ( see here for the process).
- Stay updated: Get notifications about upcoming events, tournaments, and special games.
- Connect with fellow gamers: Our website is a hub for discussions, strategy sharing, and camaraderie.
Remember, our society thrives on camaraderie, creativity, and shared passion. Let’s make the most of our digital space while continuing to enjoy epic battles on our physical tables.
Thank you for being part of the Shrewsbury Wargames Society. We look forward to seeing you online and across the tabletop!
Wargaming cheers,
Dale Jones
Shrewsbury Wargames Society Chair

Did you know that SWS has an active TikTok channel? Managed by the most excellent Paul Titley, it's a fantastic record of the great meetings and events that we have. Click here to visit or see Paul's handiwork below.
@paultitleysws
Paul mashes photos and videos together to give us a record of the goings-on at our fantastic club, dubbed by one of our visitors as "Shrewsbury's premier tabletop gaming space" (thanks Mighty Melee - praise from the praiseworthy is praise indeed). Whilst some of our club are a bit bashful about letting you know what a good club we are, others would like to let you know that we're up there with the best. Paul's got us 1500 followers on TikTok, but we are even more amazing in real life so come on over to see what we get up to. We will be pleased to see you!

We've changed the event scheduled on the 9th June. Our Star Wars day has been shelved (boo) for a painting event instead (huzzah!).
Come along to the club to find out how to paint fantastic miniatures and enhance the creative side of your hobby. Andy Rawlins and Scott Hull will be on hand to show you the best ways to wield those brushes!
