It was a calm night, calm after the frenetic activity of a packed committee meeting. Games played included Middle Earth, Command at Sea (I think), some Ancient Mediterranean game found on the shelf* (which looked like great fun) and some good old Bolt Action. Two guys came to see what we do and I hope we get to meet Bill and Jem again soon. A few of us had a really good natter about modelling and 3D printing and it was nice to spend some enjoyable time in the presence of like-minded individuals.
*Rome and Carthage
Rome and Carthage is ancient in another way, too: it is a precursor to Risk written some years before that game by the same designer. I hope the players enjoyed it.
