Shrewsbury Wargames Society – Tournament Recap Ten opponents battled it out on a torrentially rainy Saturday at Shrewsbury Wargames Society to determine who reigns supreme in the Mortal Realms (and win some SWS dice!).

Fun was had by all, with every player receiving at least one vote for "Most Sporting Opponent"—a true testament to the great atmosphere. In the end, that honour went to soon-to-be member Daz – well deserved, and congratulations! Josh claimed first place, showcasing incredible tactical foresight and skill throughout the day. Meanwhile, Dom, another soon-to-be member, won Best Painted with his beautifully crafted Gloomspite Gitz army – a real standout on the tabletop. We’re already looking forward to the next event, so keep an eye out if you want to get involved! A huge thank-you to everyone who took part and made running my first tournament such a smooth and enjoyable experience. Check out all the incredible armies and action shots here.

Interested in Spearhead? It’s a great way to get started – all you need is one box of minis, and there’s a growing community ready to welcome new players. Cheers, Owen
