Cracking days gaming of 3rd Ed. 40K and my first outing of my new Tyranid horde.Monday night Lion Rampant game v Tim Corbett. His 100yw against my Spanish Moslem. I had to get 1/2 my army off the opposite corner. I failed marginally I got 13 pts away but needed 15pts.
A small game this evening, my Patriots vs Mr. Irelands Royalists. Used Fire & Fury rules. Narrow Patriot win.
A quiet night with only three or four tables being used. However, a productive one was had - Andy Collyer taught me and Paul Ireland the intricacies of Chain of Command with a view to getting more players this year, perhaps getting a campaign going. John Geary and Seb had an interesting game of Aliens (see AAR here) and the MESBG gang enjoyed a game or two, then stayed for ages chatting, which is just what the club is for!
