Just a reminder to everyone that the weekend of December 5th and 6th is the Marcher Weekend. It is an open weekend for anyone to organise their own games although there will, hopefully, be one big historical game on for multiple players.
For those who do not know what Marcher is. Many years ago three clubs, Chester Wrexham and us organised an inter club tournament at least once a year called Marcher. After a few years it became obvious the other two were losing interest so we took it on as a major event for anyone. We had trade stands and a DBA tournament. It did well for a number of years, but then insurance, cost of van hire and venue became too prohibitive so we stopped it as an open event for the public and just had the weekend as a club weekend for gaming.
Just to remind everyone that there is also a painting competition with a number of categories and prizes! So get painting that figure you have always wanted to.
